Corfu Sunset Cruises

evening cruises from Corfu and Lefkimmi. Corfu is a long island with slow roads, so departure point matters as much as the headline attraction. Compare the stated duration, pickup area and what is actually included. A tour from the opposite end of the island can add hours before the experience starts.

Frequently asked questions

Is Corfu mainly a beach destination?

Corfu is both an island and a city. Corfu Town is known for its UNESCO-listed old town, fortresses and museums; the beach resorts are spread around the coast. Paleokastritsa is 23 km west of town, while Sidari, Kassiopi and the southern beaches require separate journeys.

Can I visit Paxos and Antipaxos from Corfu?

Yes. These are among the most-booked full-day cruises in the current catalogue. Departures use Corfu Town, Benitses or Lefkimmi, so check the pier carefully: the wrong end of the island can add a long road transfer.

Can I take a day trip to Albania?

Yes. Bookable trips combine the ferry to Sarandë with Butrint, but this is an international border crossing. Carry the travel document required for your nationality and check visa and entry rules before booking; a Greek island holiday does not remove Albanian border formalities.

Do I need a guided tour of Corfu Old Town?

No. The historic centre is compact enough to explore independently. A guide is useful for the Venetian, French and British layers and the two fortresses, while a hop-on hop-off bus mainly helps connect sights outside the pedestrian lanes.

Do I need a car on Corfu?

Not for a stay centred on Corfu Town. A car becomes useful for several beaches, mountain villages and the north in one trip. Roads are often narrow and slower than the distance suggests, and parking in the old town is less convenient than walking from an outer car park.
